The Newport Fishing Pier stretches over the Atlantic in Sunny Isles Beach, next to the historic Newport Beachside Resort. It is one of the few fishing piers left in northern Miami-Dade, frequented by anglers after pompano, mackerel and snapper. Facing east, it is a prime spot to watch the sun rise over the sea.
