Tiburón: carnada viva o cortada (mullet, ladyfish o bonito, bien sangrienta) con chum, y líder de alambre obligatorio; los equipos reales de Miami montan mono pesado con ~10' de alambre, y anzuelos relativamente chicos (8/0 en tándem) que enganchan mejor y dañan menos. Especies comunes: blacktip, bull, hammerhead y lemon. Barracuda: tubos de 4–6" en jighead de ½–1 oz con 12–18" de alambre (#6–9, 60–90 lb), recogida rápida con tirones; spinning ligero es lo más divertido. Ángulo honesto en ambos: catch & release.Shark: live or cut bait (mullet, ladyfish or bonito, nice and bloody) with chum, and a mandatory wire leader; real Miami rigs run heavy mono with ~10' of wire, and relatively small hooks (8/0 in tandem) that hook better and harm less. Common species: blacktip, bull, hammerhead and lemon. Barracuda: 4–6" tube lures on a ½–1 oz jighead with 12–18" of wire (#6–9, 60–90 lb), ripped back fast; light spinning is the most fun. Honest angle for both: catch & release.
